I had a rare Friday night with no gig, so I had the pleasure of intruding on the Lovelies' standard Friday night granfalloon. This meant, of course, that they gave up their usual sushi to go to Fuddrucker's with me, but they seemed to enjoy it, and me, so it all worked out. We picked up the most recent X-Men movie on the way home, which was good, but I got blinky before we could finish it. Honestly, I should be sleeping, not writing this, but oh well ...
As you can see above, I went to the Met this morning / afternoon. Not much news there. I go to the Met all the time. But today I did something I've wanted to do for years ... I went with Jason! We've talked forever about wanting to do this, and the right exhibit (Matisse) presented itself. We went for about three hours, and it was amazing to riff with each other, and see how many of our art opinions and passions were in alignment. We're definitely going to have to do this again ...
